You’re Safe in God

A girl with Jesus

As the chicks are safe under the wings of the hen, so is every child of God safe with him. He promised to give His angels charge over his people (Psalm 91:11). Fear is unnecessary with God.

The devil and his cohorts are on a continual hunt for the people of God, but the Lord is a hiding place for them. The presence of God is secured and protected from every unwanted intrusion of any kind (Psalm 32:7).

The Lord is a shelter and refuge for all who trust in him. The righteous run unto him and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). God wants his people to dwell with him in safety. A man is safe from the storm and rain when he dwells in the safety of the home and so is everyone who dwells with God.

Difficulty in life is not caused by God, but he permits it. He hides his people in his shelters in the days of trouble and conceals them in his tent from the watchful eyes of the enemy and no harm comes near them (Psalm 27:5).

The precious love of God for his people is steadfast. His children take refuge in the shadow of his wings. There is no other place as safe as the dwelling presence of God (Psalm 36:7). In the cover of his presence, he hides them from the plot of men and stores them in his shelter from their words of hatred (Psalm 31:20).

All it takes to abide in the protective shelter of God is to accept Jesus as personal Lord and savior. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the son of God abides in God and God in him (1 John 4:15-16).

God wants to be a refuge for all who come to him through his son. A hiding place from the wind of the enemy and shelter from the storms of life.
