Wisdom Is Your Capital

Brain with wisdom

Wisdom is a valuable and essential quality that everyone should strive to acquire. In the Bible, wisdom is often associated with understanding, knowledge, and good judgment. Proverbs 4:7 says, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." This verse emphasizes the importance of wisdom, suggesting that it is the most important thing a person can possess.

In Proverbs 2:6-8, wisdom is described as a treasure that is worth seeking: "For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity." These verses suggest that wisdom comes from God and is something that should be sought after and valued.

In addition to being valuable, wisdom is also something that can protect and guide us. Proverbs 2:11 says, "Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you." This verse suggests that wisdom can help us make good decisions and avoid danger. Similarly, Proverbs 3:21-23 says, "My son, do not lose sight of these— keep sound wisdom and discretion, and they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble." These verses suggest that wisdom can help us navigate life safely and avoid pitfalls.

Overall, the Bible emphasizes the importance of wisdom and encourages us to seek it out. Wisdom is a valuable quality that can help us make good decisions, avoid danger, and navigate life successfully. We can acquire wisdom through study and by listening to the guidance of God. In Proverbs 4:5-6, it says, "Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you." These verses remind us to value wisdom and to make an effort to acquire it. By doing so, we can gain a valuable treasure that will benefit us throughout our lives.
