Don’t Let Your Heart Be Troubled

A christian crying

The heart is the mind, and it's troubled when overwhelmed by life's challenges. Christ says we shouldn’t be troubled by anything (John 14:1).

A troubled heart is caused by anxiety. God is in control of every situation. Be anxious over nothing, but let your request be made to God by prayer. He is ever willing to listen and grant your prayers so that you can live with peace of mind (Philippians 4:6).

Place your faith in Jesus and your troubled heart will be at rest. Christ is inviting all with troubled minds overburdened with life challenges to come to him and he will give them rest (Matthew 11:28-29; Isaiah 26:3).

Do not be afraid of unforeseen circumstances. God is with you to save if you put your trust and hope in him (Isaiah 12:2-3).

Regardless of life's storm, praise God. Do not fill your heart with doubts and fear. Job, in his difficulties, praised God, and the Lord restored all he lost at the set time (Psalm 42:5-6).

The grace of God is sufficient for you to overcome that life's challenges. God will show his might in your difficulties. His power will be made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).

Don’t be moved by affliction, and don’t let your heart be troubled because of it. It’s only temporal. God is not the cause, and it’s not his will for us, but permits it to overturn the evil of the devil and bring glory to himself (John 11:4).

Fear not and don’t let your heart be troubled. God has redeemed you. He promised to be with you when walking through the troubled waters and when you pass through the fire. You will not be drowned or consumed by the flame (Isaiah 43:1-2).

In the days of trouble, don’t be troubled in the heart. Seek the Lord and draw closer to him. He will see you through.
