God’s Grace Is Sufficient for You

A Christian praying

Grace is the unmerited love and favor God shows towards his people. It’s unmerited because everyone is saved by grace. The wages of sin is death, but God through his kindness saved us from the wrath to come (Romans 6:23).

The Christian journey isn’t always rosy. There may be tough times, but God promises that his grace is sufficient. He will always supply the grace to overcome (2 Corinthians 12:9).

You may feel weak and unable to carry on, but God will perfect his power in your weakness. Keep on going. You can do all things through Christ. He gives power to the faint and those without might, he increases their strength (Isaiah 40:29-31).

God commands us to be strong and not to give up. Don’t let fear rule your heart. Do not lose courage. God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

You may be passing through troubled waters. God has promised never to forsake his own. You will not drown. You may be passing through fire too unbearable to continue. You will not be consumed. You will overcome (Isaiah 43:2).

Everyone faces trials at one point or the other. God is not the cause but permits it for some reasons. He is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond your capacity  (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Stay humble to receive more grace from God. He resists the proud but gives more grace to the humble. By humility, we receive more grace from God (James 4:6).

Draw near to God with confidence in prayer to receive grace from him (Hebrews 4:16). However, sin and an unholy lifestyle create a barrier between God and man. Every sin and ungodliness should be put away (Psalm 66:18).

You will be strengthened with the power of God to overcome, but be patient and endure for a season. God will come through for you in due time (Colossians 1:11).

God is in your midst. He is mighty to save. He will see you through because his grace is sufficient for you (Zephaniah 3:17).
