Casting Our Cares on God

A worried Christian

God cares for his creatures. He wants our dependence on him and nothing else to show his love and care for us (1 Peter 5:7).

He will supply your needs if you put your trust in him (Philippians 4:19). He can supply the grace to have sufficiency in all things (2 Corinthians 9:8).

He will sustain you and will not allow the circumstance of life to move you (Psalm 55:22). He just wants you to be still and rest on his promises to keep you.

He has never forsaken the righteous and he won’t start now (Psalm 37:25-26). God stands by those who trust him to meet their needs. He promised never to leave or forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

When God leads you, you will not lack anything. The flocks of a good shepherd do not lack because he will always lead them through the path to find pastures for themselves. He meets their needs daily (Psalm 23:1-3).

All things work in favor of all who love God and put their trust in him. He provides for them and does not allow them to hunger (Romans 8:28).

To cast your care and concern on God, don’t be anxious over anything but present your request before him through prayer because he cares for you. He does not want you to live in anxiety and worries when he has made available all you need but only waiting for you to ask (Philippians 4:6).

If God takes care of the birds and other animals, he will take care of you. We are created in the image and likeness of God. If he takes care of them, he will care for you better (Matthew 6:25-34).

Seek God first in whatever you do. He is pleased when we put him first. A father is happy when the child sees him as a priority. He should not be made an option in your life, but the main essence of living. He will reciprocate when you do and take care of you (Matthew 6:33).

Focus on God and nothing else. Live in obedience to his command. He will direct your path and meet your demands (Deuteronomy 28:1-6).

Don’t love the world and the things in it. You can’t love God and the world at the same time. If you love the world, your relationship with God will be affected and your needs will not be meant (1 John 2:15).

Keep yourself from the love of money and learn the art of giving because God loves cheerful givers and takes care of them (Hebrews 13:5; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
