True Safety Found in the Secret Place

Christian during prayer

True safety is something that we all crave and desire. It is a feeling of being protected and secure, both physically and emotionally. While there are many ways that we can try to find safety in this world, true and lasting safety can only be found in the secret place with God.

The secret place is a term used to describe a place of intimate fellowship and connection with God. It is a place where we can go to be alone with God, to commune with Him, and to seek His will and guidance for our lives. It is a place of refuge and rest, where we can find peace and comfort in the midst of a troubled world.

But the secret place is more than just a physical location. It is a state of mind and heart, a place where we can find true safety and protection from the dangers and uncertainties of this world. When we seek God in the secret place, we are putting our trust in Him and His ability to keep us safe.

The Psalmist wrote, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, 'My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust'" (Psalm 91:1-2). This passage teaches us that when we seek refuge in God, He will be our shelter and our protection, and we can trust in His ability to keep us safe.

But finding safety in the secret place with God isn't just about physical protection. It is also about emotional and spiritual safety. When we draw close to God, we find that He is able to heal our wounds, give us strength and courage, and provide us with a sense of purpose and direction for our lives. In the secret place, we can find true safety and security, no matter what challenges or difficulties we may face.

So if you are seeking true safety and protection, look to the secret place with God. Seek Him out in prayer and in the reading of His Word, and trust in His ability to keep you safe and secure. He is the only one who can provide you with the true safety and protection that you need, now and forever.
