Living in the Perfect Will of God

A christian

Living in God's will is living in a way that pleases him in all things. He desires that we live in his perfect will in our choices and daily lifestyle.

It's the will of God that we should not follow the pattern of the world. This is worldliness. A friend of the world is an enemy of God. Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its “mold.” When we come to the kingdom of God, we should abandon the thought patterns and lifestyles of the world. (Romans 12:2).

Be thankful to God always. It's his will concerning you. Some complain about the things they are yet to get instead of being thankful for the ones they already have. But we are admonished to give thanks always because it's the will of God for us  (1 Thessalonians 5:18). We should be able to praise the Lord at all times, in all circumstances, and for everything.

It's also the will of God for us to abstain from fornication (1 Thessalonians 4:3). Not only fornication but other sins, sexual and non-sexual. Believers should sanctify themselves, that is, they should separate themselves from all forms of sin.

God desires that everyone is saved from sin. Your salvation is the will of God. If you are already saved from sin, God desires that you remain holy and righteous (1 Timothy 2:4).

Live under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He will teach you continually to know and do God's will.
